Welcome to Poplar Farm School
On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors, and the Community Inclusive Trust (CIT), I would like to welcome you to Poplar Farm Primary School. We opened in September 2018, growing by one year group each academic year, and now have children from EYFS-Y6 in school.
Poplar Farm Primary School is a warm, caring and vibrant school where pupils are at the heart of every decision we make. Poplar Farm pupils are happy and confident, they are creative, curious, resilient and motivated to learn.
Through our well rounded and enriched curriculum, we ensure that pupils have high aspirations and reach their full potential. We provide a wide range of opportunities for pupils to develop resilience and positive learning habits. Pupils are challenged and nurtured to ensure that ALL experience success. We believe that learning should be an amazing adventure for all pupils, enabling them to experience challenge and the joy of achievement within a rich and diverse curriculum.
We strive to ensure that all pupils develop knowledge, skills, happiness and a thirst to live and learn.
The school ethos is one of unconditional positive regard for all with a focus on building long-lasting, and positive relationships, underpinned by The Poplar Promise. The school has a dedicated team of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff that work hard to reach high standards in everything we do. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and value your interest and support.
I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school. If you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. If you would like to visit the school, we will be proud and happy to show you around.
Kind Regards,
Kate Hodson
