Furry friends visit Poplar

29th October 2018

Pupils enjoyed an exciting start to the new term as they were greeted by visitors from Pets at Home, including a selection of furry friends!

A handful of guinea pigs were shown around the two classes, giving pupils the opportunity to ask questions about handling, caring and looking after small pets.

The Pets at Home staff also gave an insight into what it is like to work in the 'pet shop', shocking pupils by explaining how it takes two hours to clean out all of the animals.

Don't be surprised if your child comes home this afternoon asking for a new pet!
