Kate believes all primary aged children should be taught through first hand experiences, including outdoor learning and activities with international schools. She is passionate about opportunities and experiences for all children to enrich their learning.
Helen has a BA (Hons) in Early childhood studies and a L7 Diploma in Human Resource Management. She has worked with children in early years for over 15 years in roles such as; Nursery Manager for a 112 place nursery, Quality and Compliance Manager and an Area Manager of 9 nursery settings. For the past 9 years, Helen has focused her career in HR Management within a variety of different sectors.
Helen has a strong belief that outdoor learning can enrich the curriculum and make learning fun. She is excited to join the school governing body to support the school develop the outdoor space to impact the children’s development and support the governing body.
Pam is excited to be involved with shaping a new school. She has worked closely with Governors and understands the importance of their role. Pam believes her senior leadership experience could be useful in a Governing Body and has time to be fully committed to Poplar Farm with school activities and Governor' requirements.
Poplar Farm School Parent Governors
Kristy currently works for HLNY CRC probation, managing 11 multi discipline staff covering a wide range of roles including HR functions such as recruitment and selection, sickness, disciplinary, capability and supervision and appraisal. Her team delivers community payback for the whole of greater Lincolnshire which requires problem solving skills and lots of logistics. As part of her role Kristy also writes and quality assures risk assessments and court reports, completes investigations and complaint reports as well as serious further offence reports as required by the justice department.
Kristy is enjoying supporting Poplar Farm School and the local community.
