After School Club Supervisor

Contract Term: Permanent

Salary:G4.9-12 £6,860 - £7,279 pro rata (£20,043 - £21,269 FTE) 

Start Date: 01.09.22

Contract Type: Part Time, 15 hours a week, Monday - Friday 2.55-5.55pm Term Time

Poplar Farm is a new school which opened in September 2018. We will grow by one-year group each academic year.  We are a warm, caring and vibrant school where pupils are at the heart of every decision we make. Poplar Farm pupils are happy and confident, they are creative, curious, resilient and motivated to learn.

The school is part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

An After School Club Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of our after-school club Poplar Pioneers. This involves ensuring the environment is safe, caring and operates in line with any legal requirements. A key part of the role involves overseeing the organisation of activities for children to ensure they meet their emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs, and working in partnership with parents to develop strong relationships to promote the wellbeing of children. As club supervisor, the individual must have the skills to lead and manage other staff members working at the club.

Catering Assistant

Contract Term: Permanent

Salary:G1.3 £6,337 pro rata (£18,516 FTE) 15 hours a week, 11am-2pm Monday-Friday Term time

We are seeking to recruit an additional Catering Assistant to work in our school kitchen to support our Chef and Catering Assistant, in preparing delicious, homemade, well-presented and nutritious meals.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Support the Chef and Catering Assistant to prepare meals in line with food hygiene and school food standards.
  • Assist with serving meals and day-today kitchen duties, including cleaning and washing pots.
  • Be a good team player.
  • Love working with children and willing to focus on their views and needs.
  • Have a food hygiene certificate or a willingness to undertake immediate training on appointment.
